The phenomenal success of Gift Card Mall™ can be attributed in large part to the marketing support provided by Blackhawk Network. Our efforts have created a true consumer destination within our retail distribution partners' stores, driving increased foot traffic and spending.
We have available attractive marketing materials for our end-cap displays, including seasonal and occasion-based promotional materials. These are supplemented with surrounding in-store materials. For instance, a Valentine's Day promotion can be supported by a small gift card display and additional signage in the floral sections of some grocery stores. We have even worked with partners to develop special corrugated shippers emblazoned with eye-catching designs for the holiday season. Seasonal and occasion-based promotions are further supported by newspaper circulars, billboards, PR and radio advertising.
Here, too, our Safeway heritage pays great dividends, giving partners the benefit of time-tested marketing know-how. Bringing cards to consumers is only part of the equation. We work with our partners to bring consumers to the cards.
