William Y. Tauscher – Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board
William Y. Tauscher is chief executive officer and chairman of the board of Blackhawk Network bringing almost 30 years of retail, technology and distribution experience. In early 2010 he joined Blackhawk as executive chairman of the board and then was appointed to chief executive officer. Prior to joining Blackhawk, Tauscher served as managing member of the Tauscher Group, a company that invests and assists in the management of enterprises. Tauscher has also founded and grown several profitable private and public companies such as Foxmeyer’s Health Mart, Vertical Communications, Coast to Coast (acquired by True Value) and Vanstar Corporation. Tauscher holds a B.S. from Yale University.
Talbott Roche – President
Talbott Roche is President of Blackhawk Network responsible for driving sales of all current businesses as well as developing new products and new channels to expand the business. Through her vision and leadership, the company has become a market leader in prepaid product innovation, marketing and merchandising. Talbott has been recognized for her many career achievements and as a visible advocate for the industry. She serves as executive committee member on the board of directors of the Network Branded Prepaid Card Association (NBPCA) and has been recognized as a top executive in the retail and prepaid industries. In 2010, she received the Industry Achievement Award from Paybefore for her leadership and in 2011 she was renamed one of the 100 Top Women in Grocery.
Dan Dmochowski – President of International
Dan Dmochowski is President of International and has full responsibility for all of Blackhawk’s International operations, including the development of both product distribution and card partnerships. To date, Blackhawk Network has successfully secured partnerships with leading retailers in countries such as Canada, Mexico, United Kingdom, France, and Australia. Under his direction, Blackhawk Network has expanded from the United States to 17 countries around the world, and established relationships with the top retailers in each of these countries. Prior to joining Blackhawk Network in 2001, Dan served in a variety of executive positions in the fields of loyalty marketing, internet advertising, and sales promotion.
Jerry Ulrich – Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer
Jerry Ulrich is chief financial and administrative officer of Blackhawk Network. He is responsible for the organization’s finance, administrative, IT and operational functions. Ulrich brings more than 25 years of finance and operations experience with technology and financial services companies to Blackhawk Network. Prior to joining Blackhawk Network, Ulrich was vice president, operations and chief financial officer for Xign Corporation, an electronic settlement network provider for large companies and their suppliers.
David Durant – Secretary & General Counsel
David Durant directs the legal department of Blackhawk Network and is a 1990 graduate from the University of Chicago Law School. During more than 20 years of legal practice, Durant gained broad experience in a variety of legal areas, representing private and public companies as varied as grocery stores, newspapers, trade associations, banks and high tech companies. Over the years, his practice has included constitutional law, commercial and intellectual property litigation, media counseling and litigation, trademark prosecution and litigation, advertising, unfair competition, banking and financial services matters, and general commercial contract matters.
David Tate – General Manager, Closed and Open Loop Gift
David Tate is General Manager of Blackhawk Network’s open loop gift, closed loop gift, card services and Blackhawk’s B2B incentive business. Tate brings a strong entrepreneurial background forged in a number of successful start-up ventures. Prior to joining Blackhawk Network, Tate served in various sales, management and executive roles at On Technology. During his six-year tenure, On Technology completed a successful public offering. Tate joined his former CEO at On Technology in an executive role to build NewChannel Inc. which was sold to Live Person Inc, LPSN (UDT).
Teri Llach – Chief Marketing Officer
Teri Llach is Chief Marketing Officer of Blackhawk Network and brings more than 23 years of consumer marketing expertise. In her role at Blackhawk, Llach leads corporate positioning and brand communication efforts for the company. Her responsibilities span public relations, advertising and promotions, social media, research and other related corporate communications initiatives. In 2009, 2011 and 2012, Llach was recognized by Progressive Grocer as one of 100 Top Women in Grocery and in 2010 she was a finalist in the American Business Awards for marketing. Prior to joining Blackhawk Network, Llach was vice president of marketing for The Learning Company, an educational software company.
Chris Crum – GVP US Sales
Christopher Crum is Group Vice President of Blackhawk Network’s U.S. Sales organization and is responsible for leading the sales, services, account management, and retail execution teams for Blackhawk US. Crum came to Blackhawk with broad leadership experiences, having held executive roles at Broadvision, Endeca Technogies, Primavera Software and Johnson & Johnson. In his role at Blackhawk, Crum leads the productivity of Blackhawk’s vast US network of selling retailers and has created the most effective and successful prepaid selling group in the US.
Tomas Campos – General Manager, Online and Mobile
Tomas Campos is General Manager, Online and Mobile, of Blackhawk Network. He leads a team of experts focused on emerging products and services in online, mobile and digital commerce related to prepaid gifts/products and virtual technologies. Prior to joining Blackhawk Network, Campos worked for Safeway, Ernst and Young and the International Computer Science Institute where he built a strong understanding of the complexities of retail products and systems including point-of-purchase and digital payment systems. He has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley.
Anu Shultes – General Manager, Financial Services
Anu Shultes is the General Manager, Financial Services of Blackhawk Network, bringing with her 20 years of experience in financial services. In this role, Shultes is responsible for managing the product development, sales and marketing of Blackhawk Network’s private label and third-party general purpose reloadable products and the REloadit Network in retail and online.
